It is not always easy quitting smoking, but there are several ways to deal with the condition. For instance, every time the urge comes; you can resort to a method called the distraction method. It's a method that involves you doing "something else" other than smoking anytime the urge comes. It's just like waiting out the craving until it fades away.
It might sound silly because you aren't doing anything active per se, but it works for lots of people, better than anything else.
